Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a team of experts to develop effective transportation planning and engineering strategies for diverse projects.
  • Conduct comprehensive traffic impact assessments.
  • Create and fine-tune traffic microsimulation models to analyze various scenarios, ensuring accurate and realistic outcomes.
  • Interpret transportation data and community demographics to identify mobility needs.
  • Draft conceptual designs for roadways, intersections, and pathways for pedestrians and cyclists.
  • Prepare and evaluate technical reports and memoranda.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to present findings and recommendations.
  • Lead small to mid-sized project tasks effectively.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A robust background in traffic engineering and modeling.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A self-motivated attitude with strong organizational abilities.
  • Experience with Vissim and familiarity with other traffic simulation tools.
  • A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or transportation; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license in the relevant states is expected.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $92,000 and $120,000, contingent upon individual qualifications and experience.
