Job Title: Senior Production Engineering Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Engineering Expert to join our team in Knoxville, TN. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in optimizing plant operations, resolving problems, and ensuring safe and efficient production.

  • You will work closely with operators, technicians, and other experts to leverage their problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
  • You will apply your knowledge of the plant and technology to optimize performance, referencing historical data and conferring with subject matter experts as needed.
  • You will utilize advanced tools like Aspen/IP-21 and Delta V to troubleshoot processes and improve operating discipline.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Material Science/Metallurgical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an operations manufacturing engineer role or equivalent.
  • Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule and collaborate with a diverse team.
