Low Voltage Cable Installer

Position: Low Voltage Cable Installer - $18-$27/hr DOE
We are seeking skilled Low Voltage Cable Installers with a minimum of 6 months experience in the installation of low voltage cabling within commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Routing and installing CAT 5, CAT 6, CAT6A, and other low voltage cables in new commercial construction projects.
- Terminating phone jacks and managing distribution frames, including 66 or 110 blocks and patch panels.
- Setting up support structures such as ladders, racks, and j-hooks.
Qualifications:
- Recent experience in low voltage or structured cabling installations in a commercial environment.
- Knowledge of BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC Standards.
- Experience with rack and stack tasks, including assembling server racks and patch panels.
- Fiber optics experience, including Anaerobic Terminations, SC and LC Connectors, and Splicing, is highly advantageous.
- Ability to interpret schematic and line diagrams.
- Possession of basic telecom tools such as punch downs, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, and PPE (safety gear).
Compensation Package:
- Competitive hourly wage ranging from $18 to $27 based on experience.
- Weekly payment schedule.
- Referral bonuses of up to $250 for successful candidate placements.
