Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services such as grooming, bathing, catheter care, perineal care, and dressing, while adhering to patient care policies. Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions that require attention.
- Change bed linens and ensure that grooming supplies are adequately stocked in resident rooms.
- Assist residents with ambulation and transfers, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Document vital signs, weights, measurements, intake and output, and food consumption as assigned.
- Regularly reposition and turn patients to maintain comfort and prevent complications.
- Engage residents in range of motion exercises and orientation activities as directed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Nursing Assistant Certification from the state.
- Proficient in recording information and executing technical procedures.
- Strong communication skills coupled with self-discipline and patience.
- Genuine compassion for elderly and disabled individuals.
- Commitment to upholding the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
- Adherence to safety policies and procedures set forth by the company and department.
