About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trust Officer to join our team at Charles Schwab. As a Trust Officer, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of trust accounts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of trust accounts, including distributions, record keeping, and account reviews
  • Oversee all aspects of trust administration, including compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Provide exceptional service to clients, including trust beneficiaries and investment advisors
  • Work closely with internal financial consultants and centers of influence within the account relationship
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in personal trust administration, serving as a primary trust professional with an assigned book of business
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • CTFA certification
  • Experience with directed trusts
  • Strong knowledge of the principles of trust administration and practical experience in administering trusts governed by Delaware and Nevada law
  • Superior organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interface with a variety of people
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter
