Job Summary

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) to join our team. As an AEMT, you will be responsible for delivering pre-hospital emergent and non-emergent care to patients in need. This role requires strong assessment and treatment skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service to provide efficient and acceptable care to patients
  • Perform assessments and apply methods of treatment and transport based on scope of training and medical protocols
  • Operate the ambulance in a safe and professional manner, obeying traffic rules and regulations
  • Complete patient care reports, daily duties, and other required documentation
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a safe and effective work environment
Requirements
  • Current certification as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician in the state of Georgia
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current driver's license
  • NIMS 700, 800, ICS 100, 200 certification within 90 days
