Evara Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Conduct intake interviews, document patient interactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in daily huddles and collaborate with the care team to ensure pre-visit preparation and culturally sensitive services.
- Prepare patients for exams, administer treatments, and perform screening tests as directed by healthcare providers.
- Process patient tasks, including phone calls, and respond in a timely manner.
- Scanned and faxed documents, and maintain accurate records.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and perform other tasks as directed by healthcare providers.
- Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory agencies and organizational policies, ensuring compliance.
- Schedule patients for follow-up appointments and follow up with patients who have missed appointments.
- Clean and stock exam rooms, disinfect surfaces, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Exhibit exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program.
- Minimum one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, with demonstrated competencies.
- Current BLS certification.
