Job Overview

The Rigging Installation Lead is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for on-site direction, task delegation, and daily activity prioritization as guided by the Project Management team, while actively engaging in the installation of stage rigging systems.

Projects encompass pipe grids, counterweight mechanisms, fire safety curtains, and rigging automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and guide the efforts of installation personnel.
  • Strategize and execute the setup of rigging apparatus and drapery.
  • Interpret and analyze blueprints.
  • Design, install, repair, and troubleshoot custom-built equipment.
  • Travel may be necessary.
  • Ensure project timelines and budgetary goals are achieved.
  • Maintain essential project documentation.
  • Ensure the installation crew is fully informed of their responsibilities.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of installed components.
  • Uphold a safe and organized work environment.
  • Responsible for comprehending rigging and all safety protocols associated with the installation of equipment.

Additional Duties

  • Review and annotate field drawings.
  • Capable of assigning tasks and taking responsibility for the daily objectives of the installation team.
  • Collaborate effectively with other trades and clients.
  • Skillfully troubleshoot complex system challenges.
  • Adhere to company and client safety standards.
  • Proficient in the use and safe operation of power tools.
  • Act as a point of contact between clients and the company.

Qualifications

We seek a dynamic individual to lead all facets of installation for theatrical rigging.

Enforce rigorous on-site safety regulations, including OSHA, PPE, and other specific site requirements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Excellent communication skills are essential.
