Job Description

The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a highly qualified Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our faculty team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical service in breast imaging, including mammography, breast ultrasound, breast interventional procedures, and breast MRI exams.
  • Develop a clinical or research program in breast imaging, with a focus on one's specialty area.
  • Supervise and teach residents, fellows, and medical students in breast imaging.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to advance the department's research and clinical programs.
Requirements
  • MD degree (or equivalent) and ability to practice medicine in California.
  • Expertise in breast imaging and completion of fellowship training in breast imaging.
  • Board certification (or eligibility) by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or preparedness to enter the ABR Alternate Pathway.
  • Certification to interpret mammography under the Mammography Quality Standards Act.
