Mental Health Therapist

KVC Health Systems is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide mental health services to children and families in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, and communities.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to promote healthy relationships and coping skills.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct home visits and other community-based interventions to support clients in their natural environments.
- Participate in regular supervision and training to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.
- Meet with Director of Permanency for bi-weekly supervision and discuss client progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
- Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with contract requirements, regulatory standards, and agency policies.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings, court hearings, and staff meetings as required.
- Master's degree in a social service-related field from an accredited college or university.
- License eligibility and clinical supervision for licensure provided by KVC West Virginia.
- Experience working with children and families in home, school, and community settings preferred.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
