Key Responsibilities- Provide mental health services to children and/or adults, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, including schools, social services agencies, and healthcare providers.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Masters degree in a social service-related field, such as counseling, psychology, or social work.
- License eligible and willing to obtain licensure in the state of West Virginia.
- Experience working with children and families in a mental health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
