We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused General Merchandise Expert to join our team at Target. As a General Merchandise Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our sales floor is always stocked, visually appealing, and easy to navigate for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Create a welcoming experience for all guests, engage with them in a genuine way, and provide assistance when needed.
  • Merchandise Management: Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store, and ensure that the sales floor is zoned, in stock, and accurately signed for guests.
  • Inventory Management: Process all inbound deliveries, complete backroom fills, and maintain backroom and fixture room organization.
  • Operational Efficiency: Execute daily and weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales floor goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Customer Focus: Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming experience for all guests.
  • Communication Skills: Engage with guests in a genuine way and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate inventory levels, process merchandise efficiently, and ensure that the sales floor is visually appealing.
  • Flexibility: Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and be available to work a variety of shifts.
