In this pivotal role at Morgan Truck Body LLC, a renowned leader in North American truck body manufacturing, we seek an exceptional Lead Fabricator to join our team. As a skilled welder with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient production of custom truck bodies that meet and exceed customer expectations.

About the Job:

This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced fabricator to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and success of our company. With a strong foundation in welding and metalworking, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of complex truck body systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution, and mentoring junior fabricators to develop their skills and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the fabrication of custom truck bodies, including wiring, welding, and assembly
  • Collaborate with design engineers to interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Mentor and train junior fabricators to develop their skills and expertise
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in welding and metalworking
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results
  • Strong understanding of welding processes and techniques
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
