At Staffworks CNY, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to support our HR Manager and employee population. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with processing payroll for 200+ employees
* Maintain HR systems and update employee personal and job data records
* Support internal and external staffing/recruiting processes, administer testing, schedule interviews, and coordinate logistics
* Develop and produce designated queries, surveys, and reports for internal and external staffing
* Maintain ICIMS and Prove-It systems for recruiting efforts
* Participate in recruiting and provide administrative support for calendar management, meeting coordination, and appointments
* Perform special work as assigned, including research and statistical compilation
* Answer telephone, sort and prioritize mail, and coordinate uniform programs
* Assist with company events and employee engagement activities
Requirements:
* Associate's degree preferred
* Previous experience in Human Resources a plus
* Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office required
* Ability to work overtime when needed
