Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at JBS USA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety in our prepared foods business. This position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance and food safety regulations, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with corporate policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with plant teams to meet 3rd party audit needs and maintain approved supplier programs.
- Manage and improve data management systems, including Repositrac and SharePoint.
- Provide training and support to plant personnel on quality assurance and food safety procedures.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with programs and policies.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and food safety regulations, including GFSI certification and HACCP.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Occasional travel required.
