Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team at Howmet Aerospace Inc. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shop floor, ensuring that production goals are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production personnel to achieve business objectives.
  • Implement and maintain quality, productivity, and safety initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance appraisals, provide feedback, and coach employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage staffing levels, approve time and attendance, and prioritize work assignments to optimize productivity.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to resolve maintenance problems and improve operations.
  • Develop and implement new methods and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance labor and material utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant protocols, including EHS, SOX, Ethics, ABS, ASAT, ISO, and export control.
  • Monitor and analyze production reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Actively participate in and promote EHS programs and policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in an aerospace industry is preferred
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with support areas
  • Knowledge and familiarity with computer applications
