Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and provide direction to the Mission Team consisting of 100+ individuals
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on scope definition and cost estimation
  • Prepare and present technical briefs to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify technical issues impacting the mission and collaborate with others to drive solutions to closure
  • Work in an Agile program environment
  • Work in a classified lab on site in Aurora, Colorado
Requirements:
  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Engineering, or related Technical field with a minimum 12+ years' relevant or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
  • Active and transferable Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Previous experience with ground based satellite mission management and command and control
  • Previous experience leading Agile/DevSecOps teams
  • Experience leading Engineering Teams on Department of Defense and/or Intelligence Programs
  • Experience driving cost, schedule, and technical performance
  • Experience providing technical Systems Engineering plan
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with any of the following: Cloud technologies and migration to the Cloud, Containerization and databases, Automation (Build, Deploy, Test), Agile tool sets (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.)
  • Experience leading large (100 ppl+) Engineering Teams on Defense and/or Intelligence Programs
  • Software Engineering Experience, developing, testing, and integrating code
  • GEOINT CONOPS development from a ground segment perspective
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities as well as demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with management and individual contributors
  • Experience ensuring consistency across an integrated product team
