Warehouse Operations Specialist

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for efficiently managing raw materials in a manufacturing environment. This includes accurately and timely transactions of label material movements into Syspro (Enterprise Resource Planning system).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and maintain accurate records.
- Utilize pick tickets to move materials between stock and manufacturing lines.
- Transact all material movements in real-time into Syspro with high accuracy.
- Ensure continuous replenishment of raw materials to prevent manufacturing stoppages.
- Remove finished goods pallets from manufacturing lines, shrink wrap, and stage them appropriately.
- Clear manufacturing lines of raw materials after production runs.
- Audit and update material quantities returning to stock, attaching a 'COUNTED' sticker with the updated quantity, initial, and date.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility, including pallet organization, emptying dumpsters, and loading recyclable materials.
- Foster open communication with manufacturing Line Operators to understand their needs and status.
- Efficiently move inventory and non-inventory pallets to optimize operations.
- Perform cycle counts and other requested counts accurately.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in data entry within ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
- Detailed-oriented mindset.
- Capacity to perform tasks while standing for extended periods.
- Quick, efficient, and accurate work ethic ensuring quality.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years' experience in material handling within a manufacturing setting.
- Forklift certification (or eligibility) is necessary.
Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
