We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Railroad Laborers. As a Railroad Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to railroad construction and maintenance, including operating heavy equipment, reading and following blueprints, and working in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment, such as bulldozers and excavators, to move earth and other materials
  • Read and follow blueprints and instructions to ensure accurate and efficient work
  • Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, often in extreme weather conditions
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation or a related field
  • Ability to read and write English fluently
  • Physical strength and coordination to perform manual labor
  • Driver's license and CDL preferred

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $18-$24/hour DOE
  • Per diem: $40/day for meals (we pay for your hotel rooms)
  • Opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain experience in industrial construction and railroad maintenance

How it Works:

We travel across the country working on railroad projects. Each job usually lasts an average of 2-4 days, and you will be away from home 3-6 days at a time. This is an excellent opportunity to get in with a fantastic company and learn the ropes. If you are good at what you do and you want to progress, you will have the opportunity to be trained and molded into a leader.
