Dishwasher Porter

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Porter to contribute to an exceptional dining experience at Park & Grove. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and other serviceware, maintaining clean work areas and restaurant equipment, and assisting cooks with food preparation and storage.

Key responsibilities include:

• Washing pots, pans, and trays, and polishing silverware
• Segregating and removing trash, and placing it in designated containers
• Sweeping and mopping floors, washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other surface areas
• Transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, restocking tools and supplies for the next shift
• Maintaining temperature logs, and keeping the walk-in cooler/freezer organized
• Assisting cooks with food preparation, storage, and dating

Requirements include:

• Previous knowledge of food service regulations
• Skilled use of hand tools or machines needed for the position
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
