Job Summary

As a Data Scientist at Walmart Global Tech, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and business growth through data-driven insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data science solutions that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data science solutions to drive business growth and innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions
  • Design and implement data visualization and reporting tools to communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform data science strategy
  • Lead and mentor junior data scientists to develop their skills and expertise
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics or related field
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
  • PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Econometrics
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and experience with implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards
