About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Hilton Grand Vacations. As a key member of our property preservation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and repair for our guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, stucco, texturing, drywall repair, staining, and knockdown ceilings to ensure a well-maintained property.
  • Provide exceptional guest service by resolving problems promptly and effectively, with a focus on guest relations and problem resolution.
  • Troubleshoot plumbing fixtures, including drain cleaning, and change filters as needed.
  • Maintain all guest room and public space equipment, replace caulk, tile/grout, and door repair, including locking mechanisms and hinges.
  • Inspect rooms for pest intrusion and inspect/replace cosmetic appliance components.
  • Replace light bulbs and ballasts, repair closet/drapery tracks, replace furniture, stain furniture, and repair nicks and gouges.
  • Implement planned scheduled preventative maintenance and replaces faulty plumbing components.
  • Establish clear communication with engineering leadership and assist other maintenance staff on special projects.
  • Respond to all guest requests to ensure client satisfaction and willing to 'pitch-in' and help co-workers with their job duties.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate well with guests in English.
  • Ability to climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet, push/pull up to 100 lbs., lift/carry up to 50 lbs., and grasp, stoop, reach overhead with or without reasonable accommodations.
Salary and Benefits

We offer an excellent compensation package, including a competitive salary of approximately $$$53,000-$63,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
