Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to provide essential administrative and clerical support within our firm. This role involves organizing client documentation and updating files as necessary. Candidates must possess strong time-management and communication abilities to thrive in our fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently manage multiple tasks while maintaining professionalism in interactions with clients and staff.
  • Ensure excellent client relations by documenting all communications in our case management system.
  • Gather relevant information from clients regarding their treatment status and promptly inform attorneys of any changes or concerns.
  • Alert attorneys upon receipt of forms, documents, or additional information, and complete necessary checklist tasks or updates in client files.
  • Maintain communication with clients to keep all reports, records, bills, and wages current.
  • Draft and prepare basic legal documents and correspondence as required.
  • Conduct research on pertinent legal materials to support decision-making and prepare legal documents.
  • Collect and review client medical records and billing statements.
Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with a focus on pre-law studies.
  • Preference for current 2L/3L students.
Experience Requirements
  • Familiarity with Auto/PIP personal injury law.
  • Preferred experience of 1-2 years in Auto/PIP personal injury law.
