Job Title: CT Scan Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Scan Technologist to join our team at Cynet Health. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing complex CT procedures and producing high-quality images for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT procedures and produce sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation
  • Review and document patients' clinical history using professional judgment
  • Prepare and review contrast questionnaires, ensuring accuracy and documentation in EPIC
  • Administer contrast media as prescribed and verify exam prescriptions with radiologists and physicians
  • Verify insurance authorization for exams and coordinate with the finance department
  • Obtain and schedule outside studies to ensure availability for comparison
  • Provide exam copies to patients and requesting physicians
  • Evaluate radiographs for proper identification and diagnostic value using the PACS system
  • Gather relevant information for scanning and ensure patient safety through appropriate protocols
  • Determine procedure preparation and type/dose of contrast to be administered
  • Communicate and document patient questions and concerns regarding procedures
  • Perform venipuncture and maintain IV procedures according to guidelines
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions during procedures
  • Adhere to scheduled shifts, including holidays, and fulfill on-call assignments as needed
  • Lift and move required weights and maintain physical endurance as per job demands
  • Address the needs of diverse patient populations, considering cultural and linguistic differences
  • Uphold organizational competencies and standards of behavior

This is a 10-week contract position with a weekly pay range of $2479 to $2754. The position involves 5 eight-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with every third weekend required. Immediate availability and willingness to cover one weekend of on-call obligations are preferred.
