Radiologic Technologist: Delivering Precision in Healthcare Imaging

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Next Move Healthcare.
Job Summary: As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiology procedures in accordance with established standards.
Schedule and Shifts: This position involves variable shifts, with 4 shifts per week, each lasting 10 hours. The scheduled hours are 40 hours per week.
Hourly Rate: $33 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiology procedures efficiently and effectively, following established protocols.
- Utilize AIDET communication principles to ensure positive patient experiences.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, adjusting immobilization devices and exposure settings as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, infection control, drug, and radiation policies.
- Perform sterile techniques when required for invasive procedures.
- Ensure equipment is well-maintained, clean, and operational.
- Screen individuals entering the department for safety in accordance with policies.
- Accurately document patient history, shielding precautions, consent forms, and other relevant information.
- Maintain patient imaging records as per department policies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- ARRT-R Radiography certification is required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
- Experience working in a radiology department with patients of all age groups is essential.
