We are in search of a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician who possesses a robust mechanical skill set and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing machinery, replacing components, operating vacuum pumps, and efficiently addressing mechanical challenges to ensure optimal machine performance. This position also entails leadership duties, such as overseeing a team of 3-6 individuals, facilitating daily safety meetings, organizing daily work assignments, and ensuring adherence to production schedules. While this is not a supervisory position, effective workflow management is essential.
Essential Skills- Proficiency with cam drive systems, gearboxes, conveyors, and various sensor technologies
- Capability to replace encoders and reset servos/drives
- Fundamental knowledge of electrical systems (24V or lower)
- Experience in mechanical or maintenance roles
- Understanding of pneumatic systems
- Team leadership and management
- Excellent communication abilities
- Skill in task delegation and team coordination
- Adaptability to varying training schedules and shifts
Initial training will occur in a Technician Assistant role before advancing to comprehensive leadership responsibilities. The position requires night shift availability (8 PM - 8 AM). Candidates must demonstrate flexibility as training may take place during either day or night shifts, and must be prepared to commence onboarding on Mondays. The facility operates continuously, employs approximately 900 staff members, and is actively seeking to fill open positions.
