Job Overview

Hero Built Pools is seeking a skilled and reliable Pool Construction Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for assisting with the construction of concrete pools, spas, hardscape, landscaping, and fence projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the construction of concrete pools, spas, hardscape, landscaping, and fence projects
  • Clean and organize worksites to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Pick up and deliver materials to job sites as needed
  • Perform demolition and excavation work as required
  • Operate equipment, skid steers, excavators, tools, and other machinery safely and efficiently
  • Transport heavy machinery on trailers to job sites
  • Follow job site rules and regulations to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Assist with plumbing and electrical work at job sites as needed
  • Order materials and supplies for job sites
  • Assist with digging, framing, backfilling, and other construction tasks

Requirements:

  • Experience in pool building construction and knowledge of the construction process
  • Familiarity with operating machinery and tools
  • Ability to transport heavy machinery on trailers
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment
  • Ability to multitask and work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, subcontractors, and homeowners
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and meet the physical demands of the job
  • Ability to read project plans and specifications
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new construction techniques and technologies
  • Knowledge of pump stations, filters, valves, and automation systems
  • Ability to perform minor plumbing repairs
  • Ability to travel to multiple job sites and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift, dig, and stand for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check
  • Prompt and punctual attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
