About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Crescent City Recruitment Group. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing critical care to patients in various settings. This includes evaluating patient condition, developing plans of care, and administering treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Measure lung capacity and analyze blood samples using a blood gas analyzer
  2. Perform tobacco cessation education, bedside PFT, EKGs, etc. as ordered by the provider
  3. Deliver and assess response to ordered therapy per plan of care
  4. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
  5. Evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care License, graduate of a CRT or RRT Program, and be able to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire. Additionally, you must possess Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certifications within specified timeframes.
