Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and operate the CT scanner to perform diagnostic examinations, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, maintaining patient comfort and dignity.
  • Administer contrast media and other related procedures as needed.
  • Document patient information, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
  • Remain up-to-date with software protocols and changes in the field through in-service study, attending courses or seminars as necessary.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalency plus college/technical training.
  • Valid ARRT (CT) certification.
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year current/recent experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
