MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking skilled and compassionate nurses to join our Per Diem teams in our Intermediate Care Units. As a Per Diem nurse, you will have the flexibility to choose from a variety of shifts and units, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.

Our Intermediate Care Units are designed to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals who require a higher level of care than a general medical-surgical unit but do not require intensive care. Our units are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and feature private rooms, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in our Intermediate Care Units
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety
Requirements
  • DC Registered Nurse License required
  • CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation) certification required
  • 2 years of RN experience required
