Job Overview
We are in search of a dedicated, guest-oriented, and proactive individual with a strong passion for hospitality. The primary responsibility will be to ensure that guest accommodations are maintained to the highest standards prior to their arrival. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional service to guests and owners while addressing their inquiries and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests promptly with a warm and friendly acknowledgment.
- Provide comprehensive customer service, including information about resort amenities, activities, and local attractions.
- Perform cleaning duties, which include but are not limited to: stripping soiled linens, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, washing dishes, making beds, sanitizing bathrooms and surfaces, and rearranging furniture as necessary. All tasks must be completed within designated timeframes to meet productivity standards.
- Identify and report any deficiencies to maintain compliance with resort cleanliness standards.
- Restock linens and guest amenities as required.
- Conduct thorough cleaning and inspections to ensure readiness according to the high cleanliness and operational standards of Hilton Grand Vacations.
- Assist colleagues as needed to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Utilize self-service technology regularly as part of your role.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Attendance and Standards
Regular attendance, adherence to grooming standards, and compliance with safety protocols established by the company are essential for success in this position. Team members are expected to follow the employee handbook and all company policies.
Qualifications
A team-oriented mindset is essential. To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with team members and guests.
- Minimum of one year of self-inspection experience.
Preferred qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
