We are seeking a highly skilled Battery Technician II to join our team at CPG Corporation. As a key member of our electrical systems team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of battery systems related to Uninterruptable Power Supply systems.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the installation and replacement of batteries and battery systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on battery systems to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repair of battery systems.
- Interact effectively with internal and external customers to provide excellent customer service.
- Follow established procedures and protocols for electrical work, including safety procedures and emergency response plans.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless execution of electrical systems projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in battery technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicles.
- Safe operation of department equipment and tools.
- Elementary fix/repair techniques based on directed supervision.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn basic AC/DC theory, electronic components, and electronic circuitry.
- OSHA 10-hour certification.
- NFPA-70E Safety Training.
- Experience with battery systems and electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Competitive salary range: $24 - $37 per hour.
