This role supports our next-generation biosensor product design and development, focusing on clinical data analysis and sensor algorithm verification and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support R&D product development data analysis needs from multiple areas, including software, hardware, mechanics, investigation, and algorithm development.
  • Analyze unstructured and/or structured biological data from biosensor clinical trials, and evaluate biosensor performance to support product designs.
  • Apply analytical and data mining techniques on large clinical datasets and conduct advanced statistical analysis such as regression, time-series forecasting, decision trees, modeling, and optimization.
  • Support the implementation, testing, and verification of product algorithms from a systems perspective.
  • Design and develop signal processing algorithms as needed to improve product features and/or biosensor performance.
  • Draw insights and present results in a cohesive, intuitive, and simple manner to functional stakeholders for clinical research testing and evaluation of integrated bio-wearable sensor systems.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related physical or life science is required. A Master's or above is preferred.

6+ years of relevant experience and a BS degree, or 4+ years of relevant experience and a MS degree, or equivalent years of education and experience in Engineering and Sciences are required.

Proficiency in MATLAB programming is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with biological data analysis, statistical analysis, signal processing algorithm development, and software programming is preferred.

Additional skills with software tools such as Python, C/C++, JMP, and R are a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Knowledge of design controls and regulations for medical device development is a plus.

The base pay for this position is $95,500.00 – $190,000.00, with specific locations having varying pay ranges.
