Responsibilities:
  • Analyze blueprints and project specifications to determine material and labor needs.
  • Calculate cost factors and develop estimates for management use in planning and bidding processes.
  • Conduct analyses to enhance project cost efficiency.
  • Engage with clients, suppliers, and department heads to clarify estimates and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with service and indoor air quality departments on assigned projects.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, or Engineering is preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in estimating for HVAC contracting or related fields.
  • Ability to interpret business publications, technical documents, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Strong writing skills for reports and correspondence.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills for effective presentations and discussions.
  • Proficient in mathematical concepts and their practical applications.
  • Possession of necessary certifications and licenses for the jurisdiction of work.
  • Physical capability to perform job functions, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and insurability under company policy.
  • Proven ability to learn new software quickly, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
