Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls, direct callers to requested persons, and take phone messages.
  • Control building access and perform physical security checks as required.
  • Issue badges to cleared contractor employees, Government employees, and visitors with valid Visit Authorization Requests.
  • Cautions visitors against the possession of prohibited materials.
  • Maintain current access rosters and logs of personnel entering or leaving facilities.
  • Perform other routine clerical work, such as recording and transmitting messages, providing information to callers, and making appointments.
  • May assist the Supply technician with inventory and purchasing.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Typical office environment with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work alternate and extended shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to perform on-call duties and report to work within the required timeframe.
