Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Prenuvo's Seattle clinic location. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, ensuring patient safety, and performing high-quality scans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operation of MRI scanners, including patient safety and performance of high-quality scans
  • Ordering supplies, cleaning equipment, and scan room preparation
  • Troubleshooting equipment issues and reporting them to the relevant department
  • Utilizing ancillary tools and equipment, including PACS and other software systems
  • Image post-processing, including transfer of images to PACS and ensuring all post-processing steps are complete
  • Leadership and training of new technologists in patient safety, room preparation, effective communication, image acquisition, time management, and post-processing

Requirements:

  • Strong base knowledge of MRI imaging and patient safety
  • Licensed with the appropriate board, such as CAMRT
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • Completion of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program or radiologic technology program
  • Clinical work experience of at least 2 years
  • Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team and thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate patient care skills and ability to explain complex medical terms and procedures in a non-medical audience
  • A willingness to learn new skills and strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills
