CT Technologist I Ocala Neighborhood Hospital

As a CT Technologist I at UF Health Ocala Neighborhood Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. This position requires a strong foundation in radiologic technology, with a focus on computed tomography procedures. You will work independently, utilizing medical protocols and advanced skills to produce accurate and high-quality images. Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of CT and radiographic procedures for diagnosis and treatment, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
• Provide basic ER and inpatient bedside care and assistance under the direct supervision of the Radiology Manager, physician, or RN.
• Function autonomously, utilizing medical protocols and advanced skills under the direction of the hospital medical director.
• Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, images, and results, adhering to regulatory and hospital standards.
Requirements:
• Satisfactory completion of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by an agency accepted by the ARRT.
• 1+ years of general radiology imaging experience, with 1+ years of CT experience preferred.
• CT registered upon hire, with a current license from the State of Florida as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
• Must hold current BLS certification and be able to independently perform all radiographic and CT procedures typically performed in an ED setting.
