Job Summary

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including CT scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners and other diagnostic equipment
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification required; (CT) certification preferred
  • Vocational School Graduate or Associate Degree in Radiology Technology
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
