POSITION: Cosmetic Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job Summary: Accountable for delivering diagnostic and therapeutic care, which includes gathering and assessing medical histories, conducting examinations, and formulating aesthetic treatment plans for patients under the guidance of the Supervising Physician.

Education and Experience:

  • MINIMUM three (3) years of experience in a Medical Spa or Plastic Surgery environment as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Must hold an active and unrestricted NP/PA license in the relevant state.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of cosmetic procedures, injectables, energy-based treatments, and aesthetic services.

  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates respect towards patients.

  • Works in harmony with the Supervising Physician.

1. Primary Responsibilities

  • Delivers direct patient care as a representative of the physician, adhering to the treatment style and protocols established by the Supervising Physician.
  • Executes cosmetic procedures in line with mutually agreed-upon guidelines based on the Physician's delegation.
  • Utilizes the full spectrum of aesthetic practices when creating personalized treatment plans, considering the complexity and severity of the patient's condition.
  • Acts as the Clinical Supervisor, collaborating closely with the Supervising Physician and Practice Manager to recruit and train new staff, oversee current medical personnel, and develop service protocols.

2. Secondary Responsibilities

  • Ensures patients have a clear understanding of their treatment scope, objectives, and expected outcomes.
  • Regularly reviews all patient treatment plans with the Supervising Physician.
  • Refers complex cases to the Supervising Physician while maintaining the integrity of patient care.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of all services provided by the team, as well as knowledge of all skincare brands available.
  • Communicates relevant information to the Practice Manager and Supervising Physician promptly.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
