About The Role


As a Technical Support Specialist I, you will leverage your expertise and specialized skills to implement technical solutions and deliver high-quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, or enterprise application software across designated locations.

You will be adept at recognizing when it is suitable to diverge from standard procedures to achieve the desired outcome.

Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving straightforward issues that lack defined standard operating procedures.

Key Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Network engineering and troubleshooting, data cabling, and systems administration across various software and hardware environments.

• Ensuring the availability of infrastructure networking and computing systems during operational hours.

• Collaborating with management and staff to provide analytical and technical support for the ongoing enhancement of IT solutions.

• Overseeing local technical projects.

• Developing or maintaining policies, procedures, and processes.

• Identifying root causes of operational challenges and process inefficiencies.

• Lifting up to 49lbs and standing or walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.

• Assisting customers from multiple facilities in the vicinity, as well as remote clients.

• Traveling within your local or regional area to provide support to our customers.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM.

• 2+ years of troubleshooting experience in a multi-user high availability environment.

• 2+ years of experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation.

• 1+ years of experience in IT client, server, and network service delivery.

• 2+ years of networking experience (including DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP).

• 2+ years of experience supporting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting.

• 2+ years of experience supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in computer networking.

• Experience in supporting video conference and teleconference equipment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $46,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $103,000/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is determined by several factors, including market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
