**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at our Downtown Frederick location. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

**Responsibilities**

  • Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of menu items
  • Follow prep lists for daily orders and accurately assemble and package meals for customers
  • Manage work time to meet deadlines and determine requirements for ingredients and supplies
  • Work closely with management to ensure operational excellence and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen
  • Safely work with and around kitchen equipment and communicate any safety issues to management
  • Produce nutritious food products according to state and federal regulations

**Requirements**

  • ServSafe Certification
  • Experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and compliance with local regulations
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and time management skills
  • Team-based work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
