Job Title: Painter

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Dover Food Retail. As a Painter, you will be responsible for painting parts in our Paint Department, ensuring high-quality finishes and meeting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Painting parts to meet quality standards
  • Touching up parts as needed
  • Ensuring enough paint is available at the workstation to prevent downtime
  • Testing and adjusting equipment prior to parts arriving at the paint booth
  • Performing preventative maintenance on powder booths, spray parts, and washer systems
  • Utilizing a paint gun to paint/powder coat refrigerated display case parts on a suspended conveyor
  • Adjusting line speed to correspond with parts being painted
  • Performing color changes following established procedures and time limits
  • Inspecting completed parts exiting the paint booth for defects and notifying lead/supervisor as required
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Effectively interacting and communicating with paint line team leaders and team members
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing painting position or powder coating experience is preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes
