Special Procedures Technologist PRN Opportunity

Petersburg Hospital, part of HCA Florida, is seeking a skilled Special Procedures Technologist PRN to support our medical imaging team.

As a Special Procedures Technologist PRN, you will:

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate medical diagnostic imaging equipment and assist in imaging procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization (CC), as well as those performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab
  • Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner in accordance with established operating procedures
  • Assist in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic images and review quality of radiographs to ensure quality standards have been met
  • Obtain and document all pertinent patient information prior to exam, including patient history, pregnancy, allergies, and obtains informed consent in accordance with departmental policy and procedure
