  • A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a food service or retail setting is preferred
  • You are able to stand/walk for 8-9 hours or as required
  • You can lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • All employees in Illinois are required to obtain food safety certification within 30 days of employment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide team members during shifts, including efficient task delegation and providing constructive feedback
  • Ensure adherence to all security protocols
  • Maintain back-of-house operational standards
  • Manage cash drawers and follow proper cash handling procedures
  • Prepare high-quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream, etc.) efficiently
  • Comply with health and safety regulations regarding food, cleanliness, and safety
  • Restock food lines, chips, and coolers
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, counters, floors, restrooms, kitchen, and utensils; manage waste disposal
  • Operate cash register: manage, balance, and adhere to all cash handling protocols
  • Effectively address customer complaints and issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned

-As a requirement of the position, all Team Supervisors and Managers must complete training and pass a Food Safety Certification course. In Illinois, certification is mandated through the Illinois Department of Public Health, while in other states, certification is required through the National Restaurant Association (ServSafe), National Registry of Food Safety Professionals, or the National Environmental Health Association (Prometric). Should the Team Supervisor or Manager fail to meet certification requirements after two attempts, they will not be qualified to continue in a supervisory or management role-
