Job Summary:

New York Health is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our Urology team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and process lab specimens, perform venipuncture, flu/covid/strep testing, and other clinical procedures.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and provide support with medical equipment and instruments.
  • Perform audiometry testing, spirometry, PFTs, nebulizer treatments, and urine tests.
  • Sterilize medical equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School Diploma.
  • At least 1 year of Phlebotomy experience.
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish speaking preferred.
  • Proficiency in Word/Excel.
