**Job Summary**
As a Monitor Technician/Unit Clerk at PIH Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team. Under the direction of licensed or certified staff, you will be responsible for performing cardiac monitoring and clerical duties, ensuring the smooth flow of patient care.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide cardiac monitoring services, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Perform clerical duties, including data entry, charting, and communication with healthcare staff.
- Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
**Requirements**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic organizational and computer skills.
- Typing/computer skills, with proficiency in electronic medical records.
- Successful completion of Basic EKG Interpretation.
- Bilingual Spanish or Chinese preferred.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology or completion of course within 6 months.
- 1-2 years hospital/healthcare experience in clerical/office or unit clerking preferred.
