Job Details: As a Physical Therapist at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from infants to geriatric individuals, to help them achieve optimal physical performance and adapt to disabilities. This rewarding role requires a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology, as well as experience with physical therapy treatments and modalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, incorporating exercise, modalities, balance activities, and gait training.
  • Evaluate patients' physical and functional status, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, empowering them to manage their own care and promote optimal physical performance.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and promote seamless transitions between healthcare settings.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree from an accredited school of physical therapy
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Illinois
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
