Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
- Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information, checking for potential interactions, and ensuring accurate labeling.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records, including patient information, medication inventory, and pharmacy operations.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
- 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills and accuracy in counting and measuring medications.
