Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Food Service Associate to join our team at Morrison Healthcare. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality of food and nutrition services.

Responsibilities:
  • Take patient menu selections prior to each meal and assemble trays according to their preferences.
  • Comply with dietary restrictions and special requests to ensure optimal food preferences are met.
  • Interact with nursing staff to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are accurate and their food needs are met.
  • Retrieve trays from patients' rooms and maintain accurate and current information for each patient on assigned units.
  • Assist dietitian with monitoring of patients who are NPO, on liquid diets or have a calorie count ordered.
  • Communicate any patient-related problems or concerns to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
