About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Atlantic Constructors, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair commercial HVAC systems, including boilers, forced air, hydronic, and split systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, including electrical and control systems
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC industry or residential field; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
  • Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of basic electricity, electrical and control systems
  • Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics
  • Must be able to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen, and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. The work environment and physical demands required would be representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, and may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • May work in varying temperatures; both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness
  • May work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levels
  • May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including dust
  • May be required to work in confined spaces or from high heights
Preferred Qualifications
  • HVAC Journeyman/Master certification
  • Prior military experience
  • HS diploma or GED equivalent
